Created by Kall and Ragu, the Rayad are imbued with incredible power. Highly trained in all forms of magic and weaponry they are the most powerful fighting force in Domah. The super elite personal guards of the Dark Lord, they rarely leave his side, and have only fought in a few battles. These otherworldly abominations number 4,000.

From a story I'm writing, Ra-yad is Hebrew for 'Evil Hand'
Domah is the world where the story takes place.

He's amazing! I love the armor, specially his sholder piece. He looks like hes about to yell out "This is Sparta!" or something evil like. He would look really good in color though.

Thanks! The idea behind the armor design was a lightning bolt. Color might be nice, I still am nore sure what color scheme to use though, the original idea was very shiny metal with gold trim. I think it is more appropriate in b&w because they are supposed to have a weird unnerving quality when you look at them like your eye is playing tricks with you, or they aren't supposed to be there. Thats why I opted for a gray background.

Oh I see. Then black and white does make more sense, although the metal and gold sheme would work great as well. Thats clever about using a lighting bolt as your design for the armor. It's cool cause I would never have guessed that it came from a lighting bolt since you drew it to shape the Rayad's shoulder so well.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
